What are Powerisers?

The Poweriser® is the ultimate in fun great workout sports equipment. Developed by the aerospace industry (jumping spring and components developed by the aviation industry), the Poweriser® is made to bring us that much closer to flight without breaking the bank. 

For the average person, Powerisers seem way out there, truth is, they're just new.. they just need to be given a real trial.  They aren't hard to use, they take most people about 5 minutes to start walking, they aren't bad on the joints, in fact they are used by many joggers with weak knees because the spring doubles as a shock absorber.  They aren't just expensive toys - they're the perfect fitness investment.  Powerisers exercise 98% of the body muscles aerobically, without stressing joints.  20 minutes of Powerising (jogging, walking) three times a week has been proven to have a tremendous effect on weight loss and muscle tone - and its not like slogging on a treadmill, its fun, as relaxed or intense as you want it to be, and a great really fun social activity.  Its suitable for all ages.  Not recommended for people with medical conditions that might endanger them - like a weak heart, brittle bones or severe asthma.

The overall construction consists of aluminum and fiberglass-reinforced plastic.  The high-tech materials used, allow jumping height of up to 7 feet and steps of up to 10 feet.  Even when simply jogging comfortably with the Poweriser® the enormous step length allows speeds to be reached exceeding those of a 100 m sprinter.  Its up to you how fast or slow you go.

As when skating or inline skating, users are  must wear personal protective equipment such as a helmet, knee and elbow protectors, and wrist guard gloves, in order to prevent injuries if one falls.

We are speaking from our own experience, when we say that the first steps with the Poweriser® can be made after only a few minutes, and without assistance. Difficult to believe perhaps, but true...

Most people take under 5 minutes time on the Poweriser before being comfortable walking!

Putting on the boots, standing up and taking them off again should initially be practiced with the aid of a second person (depending on your skills...) Of course, nobody can be expected to be able to turn somersaults immediately – although that shouldn't’t need to be mentioned.

If you can't do flips easily on a trampoline, don't try them on the Poweriser - its the same principle without a nice cushioned landing...

Whenever using the Poweriser® be sure to wear personal protection equipment, such as a helmet, wrist- and elbow and knee protectors, and any other equipment you might consider necessary, since just like any other fun sports equipment, falls can never be completely excluded.
