When walking through the world, do you notice the small gifts that come your way? If you’re like me, you might find joy in collecting small stones, shapely sticks, dropped feathers, colorful leaves, and other natural items. These items are reminders of nature’s magic, each one carrying a history of its own. Of these treasures, when I found my first deer antler on the ground, I was amazed at its unique beauty and story of the deer. Throughout my life, I've felt a strong connection to the natural world, and as a dancer and flow artist, utilizing antlers as tools to enhance my performances feels intuitive.

SIZING INFO

We have tested these wicks on multiple Antler sets and have come to the conclusion that 5/8" size clamps are the best universal size for the best placement. ALL wicks come in 5/8" OD.

Antler Fire Wick Care Sheet

To keep your antlers and antler fire wicks in the best and most safe condition, be sure to utilize the following tips.

Placing the Antler Fire Wick:
Ensure that the wicking of the Antler Fire Wick is about two inches above the antler tips. If the fire wicking is too close to the tips of the antler, you run the risk of the antler tips cracking or losing stability. Fire should not be directly on the antler.
Ensure that the base of the Antler Fire Wick is at least two inches onto the antler prongs. You need a strong connection on the antler prong to hold the wick in place.

Attaching the Antler Fire Wicks:
When attaching your Antler Fire Wicks to an antler, gently clean the antler, then wrap the area where you want to connect the wick (about two inches from the tip) to with a small piece of self-fusing silicone tape. This ensures that you can generously tighten the base of the Antler Fire Wick to your antler without wearing on the actual bone. Silicone is very heat resistant and is soft, which will protect your antler from the metal connection on the base of the Antler Fire Wick.
Use a small flat screwdriver or a small coin to screw the Antler Fire Wick into place over the silicone tape until it tightens to the antler.

Dancing with the Fire Antler:
Congratulations! You now have a one-of-a-kind prop! Each antler will feel different to hold and dance with.
Please practice dancing with your fire antlers before lighting them on fire. Discover ways to maneuver your antlers in varying speeds. If you have a pair of matching antlers, you should discern which one goes in the right hand and which one goes in the left.
The Antler Fire Wicks have large wicks and burn hot. Depending on the size of your antlers, you may have a very spicy prop! If your fire antlers are too hot to use, we recommend wearing heat protection on your hands and arms or lowering the amount of Antler Fire Wicks on each antler. Even having only one or two wicks on an antler can be absolutely stunning!

Pele Wick Guarantee

Wick is a consumable material, just like batteries or food, and only has so much life in it. The wick can be replaced for $15 per wick. Please contact us at support@thespinsterz.com to have the wicks replaced on your spine.

We want you to get your new flow prop quick! The normal build time is 24 hours... but please always check the top of the website for current build times.

All Fire Props:

A One Year Warranty will come with each purchase of any fire prop through our website. This warranty includes defects in the materials or workmanship.

The Kevlar wick itself will not be covered as this material will deteriorate over time, even with intended use. To ensure your prop lasts, the directions should be followed at all times, and the props handled with care.

We reserve the right to refuse a replacement for any reason. The user should be in full control of the fire prop at all times, be professionally trained and carry active insurance.

Using fire props can cause serious injury, including death, The Spinsterz will not be held responsible in any way if an injury was to occur.
