The connections are beautiful and the black is actually glittery which was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoy the white connections in contrast with the black. I've never had a problem WITH ANY of my Spinsters hoop with my hoop being out of shape.
I got twin hoops of the “black tie” and they are honestly the most solid travel hoops I’ve ever owned. The connections are perfect... no clacking segments or imbalanced feeling! I was looking for a hoop to take to school with me so I could hoop in-between classes and this polypro travel hoop fits perfectly, disassembled in my backpack. The hoop shipped very quickly and it goes together so easily!
